Notice: As of 6:30 am on Thursday September 13, Meinhardt Raabe, the actor who played The Coroner opposite Jundy Garland has cancelled his personal appearance at Munchkinland Market Days. The 92 old actor suffered a stomach ailment on Wednesday evening. This morning, his representatives determined that it would be best if he did not make the trip to Northwest Indiana and notified the management of The Yellow Brick Road of their decision. The Yellow Brick Road has prepared a giant get well card for fans to sign. It will be at the event all three days and delivered to him after the festival. "We're sorry Meinhardt won't be here to meet his fans, but we are doing what is best for him and the preservation of this health, according to Marilyn Zengler, shop owner.

On Friday
Caren Marsh Doll and Karl Slover will autograph at no additional charge copies of their books and photographs purchased directly from them. They will also autograph at no charge, one copy per person of the benefit program book for Westchester Neighbors Food Pantry and one other item per person.
Because of demand and out of courtesy for others,
a charge will be made for all additional autographs.

Meinhardt Raabe has become world famous for his role as The Coroner opposite Judy Garland. He will autograph copies of his “Memories of a Munchkin” all three days. This unique book is a ‘must have’ for Oz collectors as well as for movie buffs and American history buffs. Meinhardt will autograph and personalize your copy of the book at no additional charge.
Noted poster artist Rick Ewigleben created his first Tribute to Oz poster in 2003. He is unveiling the fifth in his series exclusively for us this weekend. He is autographing all five posters at no additional charge. The 2003, 2004, 2005 & 2006 posters are a limited edition of 200 each and few are remaining. Rick will also autograph his photo in your souvenir program book to benefit the Westchester Neighbors Food Pantry at no additional charge.
The Oz Fantasy Museum
Be sure to visit The Yellow Brick Road’s unique but small Oz Fantasy Museum while you’re visiting Munchkinland Market Days. The museum collection includes photos of many Oz celebrities —many of them autographed—as well as scores of Oz collectibles. The museum items have been donated by many of the actors who played Munchkins in the MGM classic, Margaret Hamilton (who played the Wicked Witch of the West) and other celebrities. Other items have been collected at various sales and auctions or donated by residents of the Chesterton area. One of the more unique items is an actual piece of the yellow brick road from MGM’s Munchkinland set. During Munchkinland Market Days
small donations are requested to tour the museum.
